🧑🎓 PLAYER ELIGIBILITY & REGISTRATION Q: Who can register for a showcase? A: Most showcases are open to boys in their Senior, Junior and Sophomore years of high school. Specific eligibility will be listed on each event’s page. Q: Are goalies or faceoff players limited? A: Yes, certain positions (especially goalies and faceoff specialists) fill up quickly and may be capped or placed on a waitlist. Register early to secure your spot. Each event caps at 130 players on ONE FIELD! Q: How do I register? A: Visit the Events section of our website and select your desired showcase. Complete the online registration and payment process to lock in your spot. Q: Can I register for more than one event? A: Absolutely! Players are encouraged to attend multiple showcases to expand their exposure to different regions and coaching staffs.
🏟️ EVENT LOGISTICS Q: What time should players arrive? A: Check-in typically begins 30–45 minutes before the scheduled start time. Exact details are emailed to registered participants 5–7 days prior to the event. Q: Do players receive a jersey or uniform? A: Yes, all players are provided with a numbered jersey for team identification. Q: What should I bring to the event? A: Full lacrosse gear (helmet, gloves, pads, stick, cleats), water bottle, mouthguard, and a back up stick!
🎥 RECRUITING & FILM ACCESS Q: Will college coaches be on the field? A: Yes. Our showcases are built around on-field interaction with college coaches. They run drills, coach games, and evaluate each player directly. Q: Will film be provided? A: For most events, high-quality video is filmed and made available to participants. Highlight reels may also be purchased through our partners (details provided after the event and may vary based on region). Q: Can I contact coaches who attended the event? A: Yes. We encourage players to reach out to coaches who evaluated them. A list of attending programs is posted on each event page, and follow-up contact is welcomed.
💳 PAYMENTS, REFUNDS & POLICIES Q: What is the cost to attend a showcase? A: Prices vary depending on location and offerings, but most events range from $275–$375. Details are listed on each registration page. Q: What is your refund policy? A:We have a strict no-refund policy. The only exception is for a player who is injured and cannot fully participate in the showcase. The player must submit a note from their doctor to the director for us to consider the refund. The request must be submitted no less than 24 hours before the start of the showcase. Please contact us directly for questions. Q: Are scholarships or discounts available? A: We only offer early bird discounts for registrations made in advance. SHWCS Events are NCAA compliant and it mandates that each player pay the same rate. We strive to provide a great experience where you get to meet dozens of college coaches and get valuable coaching, feedback and competition.
